What is Villas Sol?

Owning here is a different experience from owning in a town condo complex. You are part of a working resort, with restaurants, bars and staff on site, and you share the grounds with hotel guests. Location: Playa Hermosa, minutes from Coco

Which of these services owners can use, and on what terms, is set by the resort and the condo documents, so confirm it in writing.

Rental appeal and who it suits

An ocean-view villa inside an established resort is an easy product to explain to guests. Families and groups like the pools, the on-site dining and not having to cook every night. The key question is how rentals work here: whether owners can rent independently, must use a resort rental program, or can choose, and how revenue and fees are split. Get those answers before you run any numbers.

Villas Sol suits buyers who want resort services, views and minimal upkeep, and who are comfortable with a hotel atmosphere around them. It is less ideal for buyers who want full control of their property, total privacy or a walkable town. For those, look at Playas del Coco or the residential side of Playa Hermosa.

Playa Hermosa as a whole has a quieter, more residential personality than Coco. Mornings on the beach are calm, sunsets draw a crowd of neighbors, and the water is usually gentle enough for kids. What to check before you buy at Villas Sol

Ask for the rental rules and any rental program contract, the current HOA budget and what it covers, the reserve fund position and any fees the resort charges owners.
